Purpose of the course: The main objective of the course is to familiarise participants with rapid prototyping of low power sensing systems based on “CLICKER-2-MSP432” platform. The board carries the SimpleLink™ MSP432™ - ARM® 32-Bit Cortex®-M4F CPU with integrated 1Msps 14-bit SAR-based ADC from Texas Instruments.
Evolution of smart sensor system has made it possible the wide spread application of sensors in environmental, security, fields of healthcare applications, or wide range of industrial applications. Development of smart system necessitates considerations of several design parameters. This course explains such two design parameters; energy source and power management. Furthermore, design integration of a sensor signal processing system prototype will be experimentally applied.
By means of CLICKER-2-MSP432, data acquisition, signal conditioning, modulation and transmission will be shown practically.
